Kormotech at Future Pet Food Conference 2024: How Trust and Flexibility Help Overcome Challenges
“You cannot judge the strength of a crew in calm waters. It’s during a storm that true character is revealed. And the time spent in calm waters is when trust must be built to weather any storm.” With these words, Ulyana Fitsa, Chief Supply Officer at Kormotech, opened her speech at the Future Pet Food Conference 2024 on November 5-6 in Germany.
Ulyana shared Kormotech’s journey of resilience and how the company navigates through challenging times. Three core principles lie at the heart of our success:
- Flexibility
- Creativity
- Trust
While our path may seem smooth at first glance, over the past 21 years, we have faced and overcome four significant crises. Each challenge has made us stronger and opened new doors.
“In November 2023, when Poland’s borders were closed, we found an alternative solution: delivering our products via the Danube using barges. Kormotech became the first Ukrainian company to join the ‘Danube Route,’ proving that obstacles often lead to new opportunities,” Ulyana noted.
Success, especially during turbulent times, wouldn’t have been possible without our partners. We relied on them in every crisis, and their unwavering support strengthened us in return.
Ukrainian business is built on humanity, trust, and mutual support. These values unite 160 Ulyana Fitsa’s team members, 400 suppliers, and countless partners who believe in our vision.
We live in a world of uncertainty, but we remain steadfast together. People are at the core of everything we do, our greatest asset, and the foundation of our success.

Igor Blystiv at the A2A Forum: A Common Cause
We are born alone. But we genuinely unfold within a community.
This journey is impossible without those who share your values, believe in collaboration, and know that together is more than just the sum of its parts.
A community is not only about connections. It's about trust, a shared mission, and an environment that inspires real action.
UA Marketing Club x Sens: Marketing, Books, and Community
Marketing stopped being about banners and flyers a long time ago. Today, it’s about deep understanding, strategic thinking, analytics, and humanity, as well as the ability to listen and see the product through the customer's eyes. Most importantly, it is about the power of community that supports, inspires, and pushes you to think broader and act bolder.
