Kormotech Triumph: Family Business of the Year According to Forbes Ukraine

Kormotech’s brand, Delickcious, is expanding its product range and entering a new category: canned food for cats and dogs. The new lineup includes mousses and chunks in sauce for cats, as well as pâtés for dogs.

Delickcious continues to develop its product portfolio, combining real meat and fish with superfoods in the new category to create interesting flavor combinations. The launch complements the brand’s existing range and expands the choice of food formats for cats and dogs.

Alina Smyshliak-Boroda, Reputation Management and CSR Director at Kormotech, took part in a panel discussion titled “From One-Off Requests to Partnerships: How Businesses and Media Can Build Trust and Mutual Value” at the Donbas Media Forum. 

One of Ukraine’s largest media events, the forum brings together journalists, media managers, business leaders, and civil society representatives every year. The NGO DII Ukraine organizes the event.

At Donbas Media Forum 2026, Kormotech, the animal welfare platform U-Hearts, and the Institute of Mass Information (IMI) hosted a workshop titled “Hero, Victim, or ‘Cute Content’? How Ukrainian Media Portray Animals and What Remains Outside the Frame.” 

The event brought journalists together to discuss the quality, tone, and focus of animal-related media coverage. Alina Smyshliak-Boroda, Reputation Management and CSR Director at Kormotech, moderated the discussion.

Kormotech and the U-Hearts Foundation received Silver at the Corporate Engagement Awards 2026 for “Best Alignment of Brand Values Through a Sponsorship Activity.” The award recognizes their collaboration on Animals in War, a film anthology that tells the stories of animals affected by russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and raises international awareness of their plight.

On October 3–4, the Chernivtsi Invest Forum 2026 brought together entrepreneurs and investors to discuss key challenges in business development.

Rostyslav Vovk, CEO and Co-owner of Kormotech, joined the panel discussion “Anti-Investment and Family Business: Where Not to Invest and How to Build Wealth Across Generations.” Together with other participants, he discussed long-term business decisions, investment strategies, and the principles behind building a strong family-owned company.
