Kormotech and Enzym Group Co-Founders Rostyslav Vovk and Olena Vovk Named Among the Nominees of “UP100: Business”
On June 17, Ukrainska Pravda hosted the UP100: Business awards ceremony, marking the 20th anniversary of Ekonomichna Pravda. The list of nominees recognizes leaders of Ukrainian companies that are driving economic growth, creating jobs, and strengthening trust in Ukraine worldwide.
Among the nominees are Rostyslav Vovk and Olena Vovk, co-founders of Kormotech, Ukraine’s largest manufacturer of cat and dog nutrition, and Enzym Group, a biotechnology company developing and producing yeast-based solutions.
This recognition reflects the story of how a family business can grow into a global enterprise when built on strong values, courage, responsibility, and people united by a shared purpose.
The family business was founded by Orest Vovk, whose belief in people, new opportunities, and the future of Ukrainian entrepreneurship laid its foundation. Today, he would undoubtedly be proud to see how both companies have grown, evolved, and expanded far beyond their original ambitions.
The award itself carries special symbolism. It takes the form of a glass Olbian dolphin, created by renowned Ukrainian artisan Taras Dzyndra using the only traditional glassblowing furnace of its kind in Ukraine. The Olbian dolphin refers to the ancient city of Olbia, one of the key trading centers in modern-day Ukraine.
The symbol embodies movement, entrepreneurship, openness to the world, and the continuity of Ukraine’s economic history—from ancient trade routes to modern companies that operate globally, scale internationally, and represent Ukraine on the world stage.
We thank Ekonomichna Pravda and Ukrainska Pravda for highlighting Ukrainian businesses and the people who work every day to strengthen our country.
And thank you to every member of the Kormotech and Enzym teams. This recognition belongs to all of you.
