Rostyslav Vovk Joined the European Economic Congress 2025

Rostyslav Vovk, CEO of Kormotech, participated in the European Economic Congress 2025 (Europejski Kongres Gospodarczy 2025), held from April 23 to 25 in Katowice, Poland. He joined the panel discussion "Strategies for a Time of Chaos," where business leaders shared their insights on navigating disruption and building resilient companies.

The European Economic Congress is Central Europe’s largest business forum, bringing together decision-makers to address pressing global challenges, including sustainability, digital transformation, security, and strategic investments.

The conversation focused on leading through uncertainty and destabilization, balancing short-term tactics with a long-term vision, lessons learned from global crises, understanding the true meaning of resilience and adaptability, and mastering risk mitigation, forecasting, and scenario planning.

During the conversation, Rostyslav Vovk shared key insights from Kormotech’s experience:

Flexibility in strategy:
"At Kormotech, our strategy is not set in stone. We define clear five-year goals but regularly review and adjust our approach. Every six months, we hold strategic meetings to evaluate our path forward."

A culture of speed:
"Everyone joining Kormotech knows they must work fast. This doesn’t necessarily mean working more, but working more efficiently. Our KPIs are reviewed and adjusted every quarter as part of our dynamic culture."

Calculated risks:
"We embrace risks — but only after thorough calculation. Our success in wet pet food production, now the largest part of our revenue, started as a bold move. After our French partner went bankrupt, we took the initiative to develop production ourselves. Today, we are building our third factory dedicated to these products."

Alongside Rostyslav, the panel featured Bartosz Hojka, CEO of Agora; Kacper Nosarzewski, futurologist, partner at 4CF Strategic Foresight and board member of the Polish Society for Future Studies; Adam Pers, Vice-President of the Management Board and Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at mBank; Pawel Rymarz, Managing Partner at Rymarz, Zdort, Maruta Law Firm; and Adam Siekierski, Member of the Board at Philip Morris Polska Distribution. The discussion was moderated by Agata Stremecka, Chairman of the Board at Four Reasons.
