Entrepreneurial Mind: How to Make Effective Decisions? Rostyslav Vovk at SUP DAY Forum Lviv 2025

An entrepreneur's mind has no "stop" button. Constant motion, experimentation, and real-time decision-making are the reality for those who choose the path of business. Entrepreneurs generate ideas at the speed of light, take risks, make mistakes, learn from them, and keep moving forward. Standing still is no different from moving backward.

"We thrive in crisis and feel uneasy in calm times. We have one problem: we can't stop growing," shared Rostyslav Vovk, Co-owner and CEO of Kormotech, during the SUP DAY Forum Lviv 2025.

The forum, organized by the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs, focused on how an entrepreneur's mind can make effective decisions even in times of uncertainty.

A company needs a team charged with a common focus on results to make strong decisions and drive growth. It requires dreamers because, without dreams, there are no ambitious goals to pursue. It needs organizers because a dream without a plan remains just an illusion. And it must have implementers because ideas without action never come to life.

In business, it is crucial to maintain a balance between entrepreneurial spirit and structure:

Entrepreneurial minds drive breakthroughs, while structured thinkers recognize risks and help avoid mistakes.

This synergy allows companies to withstand challenges, move forward, and achieve breakthroughs. The larger the company, the harder it is to find truly entrepreneurial individuals, and the more valuable it is to keep them close.

We deeply value those who can acknowledge mistakes, experiment, and take calculated risks. A company that fears failure and new experiences inevitably loses its ability to grow.

Finding the right people sometimes takes time. But they are the foundation upon which absolute scaling and business development are built.

The entrepreneurial mind is not about perfect conditions. It's about movement, constant growth, and drive.

So take risks. Experiment. Try new things, even when they feel scary.

Only by doing so can new opportunities emerge and significant changes occur.
