Mariia Stefanyshyn at "UP100. The Power of Women"
"Women shouldn't just adapt to the established rules. It's about both women and men rethinking those rules and creating a new reality where every voice and contribution truly matters..."
Said Maria Stefanyshyn, Chief Administrative Officer at Kormotech LLC, during the panel discussion "The Country of Our Parents or Our Children? The Role of Women in Ukraine's Reconstruction" at the "UP100. The Power of Women" event by Ukrainska Pravda.
"We cannot rebuild the country relying on outdated approaches. Women shouldn't just participate in change — they must be among those initiating it. And business must create more opportunities for this to happen," Maria continued, highlighting the role of the private sector in fostering relevant opportunities for women.
Organized by Ukrainska Pravda, "UP100. The Power of Women" became a platform for dialogue about women's leadership, the challenges posed by the war, and the new horizons opening up for Ukrainian women.
The event was held in memory of Iryna Tsybukh — activist, journalist, paramedic, and defender of Ukraine — who was killed last year in the Kharkiv region. In March 2024, Iryna was honored as a laureate of the "UP100. The Power of Women" award.
During the event, 100 women were recognized as drivers of change in Ukraine — on the frontlines and behind the lines, in business and government, communities, universities, and cultural institutions.
The "UP100. The Power of Women" project, which was launched in 2024, honors Ukrainian women who fight for the country, open new opportunities, and lead the nation forward.
