KORMOTECH SIGNS CONTRACT WITH LEADING EUROPEAN RETAILER KAUFLAND
The products of Kormotech will soon be available in Kaufland hypermarkets in Bulgaria and Romania and later in Poland and Croatia. The first orders include wet food products under the MyLove and CLUB 4 PAWS brands.
Negotiations with Kaufland started in August 2022, and the company received its first order as early as February 2023.
"Initially, we will export wet food to four out of eight countries where Kaufland operates. But we do not rule out expanding the geographical scope and range of orders over time," says Nazar Shchyrba, Head of Kormotech's Strategic Business Unit for Northern Europe and South America.
The Kaufland hypermarket chain is part of the Schwarz Group of companies and operates 1,200 stores in Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Moldova. It plans to enter the Australian market. The Kaufland range includes various household goods, food, accessories, sporting goods, clothing, and more.
Kormotech is currently successfully exporting products to 40 countries under its brands Optimeal, CLUB 4 PAWS, Gav!, Miau!, and private labels of our partners.
