When the city speaks the language of wagging tails: Kormotech UAB supports Dog Day in Lithuania for the third year in a row
On April 24, Vilnius hosted Dog Day – an annual event that brings communities together around responsible pet care. For the third consecutive year, Kormotech UAB supported the initiative in partnership with the Lithuanian Kennel Club.
This year, the event gathered around 1,000 participants and more than 166 dogs.
At the event, Kormotech created an interactive space where visitors could spin a prize wheel, win pet food, and relax in a dedicated lounge area together with their pets.
With over a decade of history, Dog Day has become a well-established tradition across Lithuania. It is celebrated by communities, organizations, and cities, promoting responsible pet care and strengthening human-animal bonds.
According to Andriy Bereziuk, CEO of Kormotech UAB, the initiative carries a deeper meaning than just a celebration:
“Dog Day strengthens the community and reminds us of values that are especially important today. Even in challenging times, we must preserve humanity, empathy, and our connection with one another. Animals often become a source of emotional support – helping us cope with stress, anxiety, and loss. That is why initiatives like this are not only meaningful – they are essential.”
Kormotech emphasizes that supporting such initiatives is part of the company’s broader commitment to fostering a culture of responsible pet care and strengthening the connection between people and their pets.
