CLUB 4 PAWS Celebrated International Corgi Day in Vilnius
Hundreds of dog lovers gathered in the heart of Lithuania’s capital to celebrate International Corgi Day at one of the largest dog community events in the Baltic region, supported by CLUB 4 PAWS as the main sponsor.
On June 4, Vilnius Old Town became a vibrant meeting place for corgis, their owners, and dog lovers as the city hosted a celebration for International Corgi Day. CLUB 4 PAWS joined the event, organized by the renowned Corgi Race Vilnius, as the general partner, supporting one of the most beloved dog community gatherings in the Baltics.
The festivities began with the "Shortest-Legged Parade," where corgis and their owners marched from the historic Gate of Dawn to Town Hall Square. The celebration continued with a series of activities for dogs and visitors, including a mini-sprint competition, the playful "Run-Run" race, and the "Smartest Nose" challenge, which welcomed dogs of all breeds.
The highlight of the evening was the first-ever global "World Corgi Day Zoom-ies" video call, connecting corgi communities from different countries and allowing participants to celebrate together despite the distance. The event was free and open to all animal lovers, attracting hundreds of visitors throughout the evening.
Beyond celebrating one of the world's most beloved dog breeds, the event also served as a warm-up for the upcoming Corgi Race Vilnius, which will take place on August 15. This year will mark the fifth edition of the race. In 2025, the event attracted more than 120 participating teams and around 7,000 spectators, making it one of the largest corgi-themed events in the region.
As the main partner of both International Corgi Day and the upcoming Corgi Race Vilnius, CLUB 4 PAWS continues to support initiatives that strengthen the bond between pets and their owners, bring communities together, and celebrate the joy that dogs bring to people's lives.
