Building on Values: Kormotech Hosts FBN Ukraine in Lithuania’s facility
Family values are at the heart of Kormotech — a Ukrainian family-owned company built on trust, transparency, and unity across generations. These same principles were at the center of a recent visit by FBN Ukraine, a network of Ukrainian family business owners, to Kormotech’s new facility in Kėdainiai, Lithuania.
During the visit, Kormotech shared its experience of entering the European market, the reasons behind choosing Lithuania for expansion, and the strong support received from local authorities and investment programs.
“Values have always guided our family business,” said Rostyslav Vovk, CEO and co-owner of Kormotech. “They help us make the right decisions and preserve what matters most — our people and our purpose.”
Rostyslav and his sister Olena represent the second generation in the family business. Together, they are scaling operations, exploring new markets, and building a culture of intergenerational trust that fosters growth.
Construction of Kormotech’s second Lithuanian plant began in February 2025. The choice of Lithuania was strategic: its advantageous logistics, supportive investment environment, practical cooperation with local government, and access to real grant funding made it the ideal location.
“A year ago, we promised to share our European market experience — and we’ve kept that promise,” added Vovk. “This visit wasn’t just about showing our facility in Kėdainiai. It was an opportunity to speak openly about the challenges we faced, the difficult decisions we made, and the lessons we learned.”
Kormotech believes that the success of Ukrainian companies abroad strengthens the national economy. As Vovk noted, “If our story encourages even one other business to keep going, then every step we’ve taken has been worthwhile.”
