Ukrainian Business Is Transforming Corporate Culture: Key Takeaways from HR Rendezvous 2026
Last week, Lviv hosted the HR Rendezvous 2026 forum, bringing together HR leaders and business practitioners to discuss how corporate culture in Ukraine is evolving.
One of the key highlights was the panel discussion, “The Cultural Vector of the Ukrainian Employer 2026,” moderated by Olena Dmyterko, HR Director at Kormotech.
“Business culture in Ukraine has undergone a profound transformation under the impact of the war. Volunteering, social responsibility, and mutual support have become not separate initiatives, but core elements of corporate culture. At its center remains the individual. It is this people-centric approach, combined with development and learning, that creates a sense of stability and future even in turbulent times,” said Olena Dmyterko, HR Director at Kormotech.
HR Rendezvous is an industry event that brings professionals together around HR trends, challenges, and innovations. At the same time, it serves as a space for networking, knowledge sharing, and building new partnerships.
During the discussion, participants explored the factors that define Ukrainian employers' culture today and how that culture shapes business resilience. In particular, they addressed the role of leadership: management sets the tone through its actions, while HR and CEOs act as key drivers of change by shaping a shared vision and environment.
One of the forum’s key conclusions was that corporate culture can and should be measured, including through eNPS (Employee Net Promoter Score), which reflects team engagement. In practice, the higher these показатели, the stronger the business results.
Overall, the forum featured six discussions focused on key topics ranging from intergenerational collaboration within teams and the role of the state in shaping the labor market to business expectations of the HR function and the transformation of HR’s role in partnership with CEOs.
