Ukraine has broken the stereotype that agribusiness cannot develop in a country at war. Kormotech at the IV International Food from Ukraine Summit
On 19 November, Kyiv hosted the IV International Food from Ukraine Summit – a key global platform shaping a new vision for food security and international partnerships. The event brought together world leaders, ministers, diplomatic missions, businesses, and more than a hundred international delegations.
During a discussion on production technologies, Rostyslav Vovk, CEO and Co-founder of Kormotech, noted that Ukraine is shifting from the traditional idea of “grain from Ukraine” to the broader concept of “food from Ukraine” – full-cycle production with high added value.
“Kormotech is an example of this transformation. We automate processes, implement the Stage-Gate approach in product development, and invest in energy efficiency. Ukraine can and must be not just a supplier, but a creator of solutions for the global market,” said Rostyslav Vovk.
Mr. Alhaji Shitu Mohammed Kabir, President and Chairman of the Ukraine–Nigeria Business Council and SMK Flour Mills, also emphasized that Ukraine has broken the stereotype that agribusiness cannot evolve in a country at war: “Ukrainians have proven that things can be different.”
For Kormotech, participation in the summit is an opportunity to strengthen partnerships, showcase the potential of Ukrainian technologies, and support the country’s movement toward a sustainable production model that creates value on a global scale.
