Leading Ukrainian pet food manufacturer Kormotech has entered the TOP-50 global pet food producers, ranking 49th in the 2023 list by renowned American industry publication Petfood Industry.
On Friday, June 21, the global event «Take Your Dog to Work» will occur. We traditionally invite Ukrainians to spend the workday with their pets. This is a way to show that even during the full-scale Russian invasion, Ukrainians continue to support a culture of humane treatment of animals.
"For us, inclusivity means creating equal conditions for everyone: women with small children, pregnant women, older people, veterans, people with disabilities, and those who bring their beloved pets to work. We want to build a global company. It means changing the mindset. We work with different people and are ready to change together with them," said Rostyslav Vovk, CEO and co-owner of Kormotech, during the SUP DAY FORUM LVIV 2024.
Club 4 Paws, a brand by Kormotech, collaborated with the communication agency ISD Group and the animation studio Panic on a project that encourages responsible pet adoption.
The campaign, focused on promoting the conscious decision of pet parenting, won in the FILM & AUDIO category at the national competition for the best Ukrainian works in advertising and communication design, ADC*UA Awards. The award ceremony took place in Kyiv on May 30.
Kormotech and its super-premium brand Optimeal became the general partners of the International Scientific and Practical Veterinary Conference IVC 2024.
IVC is the largest specialized event in Ukraine, held twice a year at the initiative of the All-Ukrainian Guild of Veterinarians.
Despite the full-scale Russian invasion, Kormotech continues to successfully develop in Ukraine and worldwide. Last year, we achieved a turnover of $152 million and increased the share of foreign sales to 31%. Over the past year, we signed contracts with partners in Malaysia, began sales in Finland, and actively developed in the markets of Spain and Italy, expanding our presence to 42 countries worldwide. At the same time, Kormotech maintained its leading positions in the Ukrainian market.
