Ukrainian Day “Take your dog to work” was held for the sixth time

On Friday, July 6, 475 dogs all over Ukraine spent time in the office along with their owners. 53 cities participated in the Ukrainian day “Take a dog to work.” The majority of participants were from Kyiv, Zaporozhye, Lviv, Chernihiv and Dnipro.

Kormotech Company, together with the brand “Club 4 paws,” called for taking the four-legged to the office the sixth time in a row. This event will make Ukraine friendlier to animals strengthening the status of four-legged companions.

The initiative is becoming more and more popular. Every year, the number of offices in Ukraine that become friendly to four-legged is growing. This year, 248 companies took part in the event. Last year, the Ukrainian Day “Take a Dog to Work” was supported by 50 companies from 15 Ukrainian cities.

Each participant received a daily supply of food from the brand “CLUB 4 PAWS,” packages for cleaning for the dogs from LoveGaw, as well as recommendations from veterinarians on how to equip the personal space of the four-legged in the office, so that both the animal and the staff were comfortable. In social networks at hash-tag # mydogatwork Ukrainians posted photos of their pets at the workplace and shared their impressions of the event.

“The holiday started in America back in 2000. And, since 2012, we have introduced this event in Ukraine,” says Katerina Kovalyuk, head of the Public Relations Department at Kormotech. – Even in our company we see that this day is becoming more popular. There were two dogs in the office when the event was held for the first time. Subsequently, more and more dogs were in the office the following years. And this year, eight pets of our colleagues came to work on this day. “On  July 6th, in the Lviv office of the company it was possible to meet pug, pekingese, beagle and others.  A photo report from the office watch here.

Next year, the event “Take the dog to work” will again take place in Ukraine. And the four-legged again will have the opportunity to spend a working day with their masters.
